For anyone interested in cooking shows, you really will enjoy this post. Culled from the TV show “Master Chef”, it is an in-depth description of the various participants (a.k.a. “Junior Chefs) and their aspirations; it tells a bit about every one of the 8 contestants.
It’s delightful how these young kids support one another – for instance, when one young chef (a boy) is critiqued for preparing a dish “too simple”.. well, the other kids rally around him and make him feel better.
It is a good show; I’ve watched and enjoyed it, and it scored a HIT among adults 18 to 49. Airing on Friday night it was a highly rated broadcast show, and then it moved to Tuesdays.

Here’s a fresh idea – offer a good variety of vegetables to your family. If you expose your teenagers and children to a LOT of different types of healthy vegetables, you might be surprised to discover there are some they don’t hate ..but actually like!
There are so many ways to present them – in green smoothies, as a pizza topping, in the marinara sauce of spaghetti, or with ranch dressing. Also you might roast the healthy veggies on the grill. Your teenagers will probably even enjoy FIRING up the grill.
